I started practicing cake decorating in the early 1990’s. I had always enjoyed arts and crafts and cake decorating was a great creative outlet for me. I joined the Harwich Fire department as a firefighter paramedic in 1994 and after getting married, realized that I didn’t always want to be working the overtime at the station. I needed a second job that would provide an income but would still allow me to stay home with my children. It was that year that I started Cakes For All Occasions. I have done thousands of cakes out of my double oven in my certified kitchen since then and I have loved every minute of it.
Having a home-based business is truly a labor of love. Dennis and I are often up late nights making sure that we can provide the freshest cakes, cookies, cupcakes, etc. for our customers. We have a true commitment to quality and will only take on the orders that we can make fresh. We use only the finest ingredients and keep up-to-date with all the current trends. We have a strong connection with our community and support many local charities. We are very grateful for our clients, many of whom have become lifelong friends. We live with our four children and our pets in our home in Harwich, Massachusetts. We are blessed with great family and awesome friends. We would love to be part of your special occasion. Due to the fact that we don’t have a storefront, we are able to keep our prices low due to less overhead.
